The course structure consists of Ground Training and Flight Training. The list of subjects included in the course is given below. You will need to pass the Ground Training examinations in order to take the Flight Training check.
The Ground Training consists of the following subjects:
The Flight Training consists of a minimum of 15 hours of flight instruction, which includes 1 flight of 50 km distance as Pilot in Command, or 1 flight of 100 km distance in “double control” and 45 pitches. The Flight Training will be with two-seater gliders. The indicated instructional flight time is the minimum required by the State Air Safety Agency (AESA).
The course duration is about 2 months, and allows you to combine Ground and Flight Training. However, the time required to obtain the license will depend on how long the student takes to pass the two official theory examinations and the flight check. The usual time varies between 3 and 6 months in total.
